Media representations of Islam in the West

Does the image that most consumers of the news media in "The West" more resemble A or B below, given that both accurately reproduce a fraction of the reality captured in the photograph?

A
B

Both are true, but not equally. And even B does not represent reality, for what else might one see, if one zoomed out a little more? A couple enjoying a candlelit dinner, their first born baby sleeping next to them in a cot? A murder victim lying in a pool of blood? A student with a cup of tea, listening to music whilst revising for exams? A wall-mounted HD TV showing the events in Tahrir Square, Cairo, during the infamous Battle of the Camel in 2011: الشعب يريد إسقاط النظام?
